“Fundraisers can be stressful. Many of the charities that I am involved with depend on the money we raise and that hinges on who attends and the venue. We chose Stonington Meadows run by the Coastal Gourmet Group for our last event. The ballroom was truly spectacular surrounded by a country meadow and nestled within the rolling hills of Stonington. The food was fantastic and was one of the real drivers in getting people to attend. Our event coordinators at Coastal Gourmet were really an extension of our event planning committee. They were with us every step of the way through menu selection, room décor and most importantly financially as they helped us stay within budget. We’ll be back."
